Our team is made up of passionate advocates, scientists, educators, and organizers who are united by a common purpose: water justice for all. Each member brings a unique blend of experience, knowledge, and heart to our work.
Sarah Jensen – Executive Director
A veteran in environmental advocacy, Sarah has led water policy campaigns nationwide and brings over 15 years of nonprofit leadership to CWAC.
David Alston – Policy & Research Lead
A former EPA analyst and public health researcher, David coordinates our legislative efforts and data-driven reports.
Monica Reyes – Community Outreach Coordinator
Monica bridges the gap between policy and people, engaging underserved communities and building trusted partnerships on the ground.
Jared Liu – Youth Programs Director
Jared’s mission is to empower young voices through hands-on science programs, mentorship, and advocacy opportunities.
Leah Brooks – Environmental Justice Specialist
Leah works closely with frontline communities to elevate their stories and amplify their fight for environmental justice.

How can I test the water in my home?
We offer affordable water testing services for New Jersey residents. Simply contact us via email or phone to schedule a kit delivery or in-home visit.
Who funds CWAC’s work?
Our funding comes from individual donors, grants, environmental foundations, and local partnerships. We are fully transparent about how we allocate resources.
Can I volunteer even if I’m not a scientist?
Absolutely! We need all types of volunteers — from event planners to educators to social media advocates. Everyone has a role to play.
What are the biggest threats to water in New Jersey?
Pollution from industrial waste, outdated infrastructure, lead contamination, and stormwater runoff are major issues in our state. We work on all these fronts.
